NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017

 

The AGM for Supporting Families in Mental Illness Nelson branch will be held on                           

Wednesday 22 November 2017

 at the

Equilibrium Chiropractic Meeting room 10 Church Street, Nelson

 

Join us at 6pm for refreshments, followed by AGM at 6.30pm.  

 

Guest speaker:   Dick Brown, Chairman of Supporting Families New Zealand will present an update to members about the future vision and proposed re-organisation of SFNZ. 

 

Our lovely treasurer Fay is stepping down from the committee this year after 13 years of service to SF Nelson.  We are seeking a volunteer to step into the Treasurers role.  If you have the right skills and a few hours per month to spare to help us out please contact Susan at SF Nelson 03 5458162  office@sfnelson.org.nz

 

 

 

TUESDAY CLUB MOTUEKA:

 

A social get together for SF family, whanau, service users and friends in Motueka.

 

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5pm.  All welcome, snacks provided.

Nikau House presents Gentle Yoga for mental health

 DATES:  Tuesdays 10.30am.   8 weeks 19th September to 21st November 2017

 Yoga, breath and body awareness practice to support the connection between body and mind.  For people with experience of anxiety and depression. No prior yoga experience necessary. Gold coin donation per session appreciated.  If you are interested in attending, please ask your key worker to complete a referral.
